Abstract

The development of science and technology in the modern era of globalization has resulted in increasing competition, which demands an increase in the quality of competent and superior human resources for agencies or companies. Quality human resources are the company's added value in facing global competition, where superior human resources are an important factor needed by a company or agency to encourage growth and move the company towards mutually agreed goals. To support the development of agencies to achieve organizational goals, good employee performance is needed by encouraging a high work environment and employee discipline as an important factor in encouraging employee performance to be maximized. The purpose of this study was to explain the influence of the work environment and work discipline on the performance of UPT employees. Waste Management in Bandung City, where the independent variable in this study is the Work Environment and Work Discipline and the dependent variable is Employee Performance. This research was conducted at UPT. Bandung City Waste Management, Jl. Surapati no. 126, Cihaur Geulis, Cibeunying Kaler District, Bandung City. The data collection method used is by distributing questionnaires or questionnaires that have been filled out by UPT employees. Bandung City Waste Management. Sampling of 95 employees using non-probability sampling method with incendental sampling technique. The research method in this thesis is the descriptive verification method with the analysis used including the validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, correlation coefficient test, determination coefficient test and multiple linear regression test. The results of the Multiple Linear Regression analysis show that the value of Y = 5.161 + 0.197 X1 + 0.315 X2 + and hypothesis testing with Simultaneous Test (F test) with the results of the study showing Fcount > Ftable (125.305 > 3.09) with a significance value of 0.000 < 0, 05, it can be concluded that together the variables of Work Environment and Work Discipline have a simultaneous and significant effect on UPT Employee Performance.
