Abstract

The presence of technology has created various conveniences in many aspects, including business. The development of digital technology has encouraged many companies to introduce mobile applications to improve business operational efficiency and employee productivity. One such example is the MyMixue application, which was developed as a specialized application to support operational activities and assist staff in their daily tasks. This application plays an important role in business processes. Therefore, evaluating the quality of the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) becomes crucial to ensure the application can be utilized optimally. This study aims to evaluate the UI/UX of the MyMixue application used by staff in the Greater Bandung and Cimahi areas by applying the 10 principles of the Heuristic Evaluation method. Data were collected using quantitative analysis with a Likert scale and were tested for validity and reliability. The findings show that the UI/UX of the MyMixue application obtained an average score of 81.9%, which falls into the No Problem severity rating category within the range of 80%–100%. This indicates that no significant issues were found in the system, and the results suggest that the application has been developed based on usability principles. The conclusion demonstrates that the MyMixue application performs fairly well in terms of usability, although one principle—“Help Users Recognize, Diagnose, and Recover from Errors”—received the lowest score, highlighting the need for improvement. Future research is recommended to employ other evaluation methods to gain deeper insights into the user experience, as well as to examine the relationship between the application’s UI/UX quality and employee satisfaction and performance.
