Abstract

Pariwisata dan perhotelan menjadi hal yang melekat, dimana jika suatu daerah memiliki wisata menarik, maka para wisatawan akan mencari penginapan yang terjangkau dengan lokasi wisata tersebut. Peluang bisnis perhotelan di Indonesia dianggap sangat menjanjikan karena jumlah penduduk di Indonesia dapat dikatakan memiliki jumlah yang banyak dan perekonomian yang baik akan menunjang bisnis perhotelan. Ide’s Hotel Bandung merupakan salah satu hotel yang terletak di Kota Bandung yang memiliki lokasi yang cukup strategis karena dekat dengan Stasiun Kereta Api, Tol Buah Batu, Supermarket dan Mall. Dibutuhkan sosok pemimpin yang ulet dan bertanggung jawab dalam mengelola sebuah hotel serta lingkungan kerja yang nyaman menjadi poin penting lainnya yang harus disediakan agar para karyawan merasa nyaman ketika sedang bekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kondisi gaya kepemimpinan, lingkungan kerja dan kinerja karyawan pada Idea’s Hotel Bandung serta untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Idea’s Hotel Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan, yaitu metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, yaitu seluruh karyawan Idea’s Hotel Bandung, yaitu sebanyak 45 orang karyawan. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi linear berganda, analisis koefisien korelasi, analisis koefisien determinasi dan pengujian hipotesis. Berdasakan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Idea’s Hotel Bandung dan terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Idea’s Hotel Bandung serta terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Idea’s Hotel Bandung sebesar 62% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 38% dipengaruhi oleh faktor – faktor lain. ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF LEADERSHIP STYLE AND WORK ENVIRONMENT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT IDEA'S HOTEL BANDUNG By: Rudi Elia Aror 1111191040 Tourism and hospitality are inseparable, and if an area has interesting tourism, tourists will look for affordable accommodation in the tourist location. Hotel business opportunities in Indonesia are considered very promising because the population in Indonesia can be said to be large and a good economy will support the hotel business. Ide's Hotel Bandung is one of the hotels located in Bandung City with a fairly strategic location because it is close to the Train Station, Buah Batu Toll Road, Supermarket and Mall. A persistent and responsible leader is needed in managing a hotel and a comfortable work environment is another important point that must be provided so that employees feel comfortable while working. This study aims to determine the conditions of leadership style, work environment and employee performance at Idea's Hotel Bandung and to determine how leadership style and work environment influence employee performance at Idea's Hotel Bandung. The research methods used are descriptive and verification methods. The sample used in this study was all employees of Idea's Hotel Bandung, which was 45 employees. Data processing was carried out using multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient analysis, determination coefficient analysis and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between leadership style on employee performance at Idea's Hotel Bandung and there is a significant influence between work environment on employee performance at Idea's Hotel Bandung and there is a significant influence between leadership style and work environment on employee performance at Idea's Hotel Bandung by 62% while the remaining 38% is influenced by other factors.
