Abstract
Bengkel Bubut Anugrah Teknik merupakan bengkel pemesinan skala kecil yang melayani pembuatan dan perbaikan komponen logam berdasarkan pesanan. Salah satu pekerjaan yang dianalisis adalah pemesinan roda gigi dengan urutan proses A–B–C–D–E–F, yaitu meja penyimpanan material, mesin gergaji, mesin bubut utama, mesin frais, mesin bor duduk, dan meja mesin gerinda duduk. Tata letak awal belum sepenuhnya mendukung urutan proses tersebut sehingga jarak perpindahan benda kerja perlu dievaluasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi tata letak awal, menganalisis hubungan kedekatan antarstasiun kerja, merancang tata letak usulan, dan membandingkan jarak perpindahan material. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) melalui analisis aliran proses, penyusunan route sheet, pengukuran jarak, Activity Relationship Chart (ARC), Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD), serta perancangan tata letak usulan. Analisis teknis pendukung dilakukan berdasarkan karakteristik benda kerja dan indikator massa-jarak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total jarak perpindahan berkurang dari 10,07 m menjadi 6,37 m atau sebesar 36,74%. Nilai load-distance untuk 50 benda kerja menurun dari 503,50 m menjadi 318,50 m. Berdasarkan massa aktual benda kerja sebesar 1,3 kg, indikator massa-jarak menurun dari 654,55 kg·m menjadi 414,05 kg·m atau berkurang sebesar 240,50 kg·m. Pengurangan terbesar terjadi pada perpindahan mesin bubut menuju mesin frais karena jaraknya berkurang dari 2,90 m menjadi 1,30 m. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa tata letak usulan lebih sesuai dengan urutan dan ketergantungan teknis proses pemesinan roda gigi. Anugrah Teknik Lathe Workshop is a small-scale machining workshop that provides custom-made metal component manufacturing and repair services. One of the jobs analyzed is gear machining with a process sequence of A–B–C–D–E–F, namely a material storage table, a saw machine, a main lathe, a milling machine, a bench drill machine, and a bench grinder table. The initial layout does not fully support the process sequence so that the workpiece movement distance needs to be evaluated. This study aims to identify the initial layout, analyze the proximity relationship between workstations, design a proposed layout, and compare material movement distances. The method used is Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) through process flow analysis, route sheet preparation, distance measurement, Activity Relationship Chart (ARC), Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD), and design of the proposed layout. Supporting technical analysis is carried out based on workpiece characteristics and mass-distance indicators. The results show that the total movement distance is reduced from 10.07 m to 6.37 m or by 36.74%. The load-distance value for 50 workpieces decreased from 503.50 m to 318.50 m. Based on the actual mass of the workpiece of 1.3 kg, the mass-distance indicator decreased from 654.55 kg m to 414.05 kg m or decreased by 240.50 kg m. The largest reduction occurred in the movement of the lathe to the milling machine because the distance was reduced from 2.90 m to 1.30 m. These results indicate that the proposed layout is more in line with the sequence and technical dependencies of the gear machining process.
