Abstract

The performance assessment of military teachers at the Army Officer Candidate School (Secapa TNI AD) has been conducted manually, making it vulnerable to subjectivity and bias. This study designed a Decision Support System (DSS) to assist in the objective, systematic, and transparent selection of the best military teachers by combining the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods. AHP is used to determine the priority weights of the assessment criteria, while SAW is used to calculate the final score and rank the alternatives. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation within Secapa TNI AD. Implementation results indicate that the system is able to increase the efficiency, accuracy, and objectivity in evaluating military teachers, as well as providing a fairer basis for the selection process. Thus, this system can support the improvement of teaching quality while motivating military teachers to improve their professionalism. Keywords: Gumil, AHP, SAW, Decision Support System
