Abstract

This study analyzes the causal Economic Growth, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of actual and potential GDP against Unemployment and Poverty in West Java. Using panel data across districts / cities in West Java that from 2005 through 2011 with the approach of Fixed Effect Model (FEM) as a result Q/ the flausman test, this study qualifies Goodness of Fit. As for predicting the potential GDP is used hoclrick and Prescott Filter. The results of this study indicate that (1) Economic Growth in West Java is influenced significantly by the Investment and Government Expenditure by each is positive, (2) potential GDP real effect in reducing unemployment and poverty in West Java.
