Abstract

This research was conducted and conducted to determine the Role of Class 1 Immigration Public Relations in Bandung City in the Dissemination of E-Passports. The purpose of this research is to find how the role of public relations in an existing government agency, such as the Class 1 TPI Bandung Immigration in disseminating the e-passport program to the people in Bandung. In this study, researchers approached using qualitative methods with descriptive qualitative research. Researchers tried to analyze the role played by a Class 1 TPI Bandung Immigration Public Relations officer based on the role of Public Relations in disseminating new and present programs in Bandung, namely the E-Passport program that just existed on December 6, 2019 in realizing E-Government. Then rather than that, many people in Indonesia do not know about this and what media are used in this dissemination process or is carried out by the TPI Bandung Class 1 Immigration Office. The researcher tries to see what are the challenges and obstacles experienced by the Class 1 Immigration of Bandung City in the process of disseminating the E-Passport program, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the E-Passport program. The data collection method in this study uses three ways of collecting data such as observation, interviews, and documentation studies.
