Abstract

iv ABSTRAK Perbaikan struktur rangka /badan pesawat udara dalam pelaksanaannya sampai saat ini tidak lepas dari penggunaan rivet sebagai komponen pengikatnya. Oleh sebab itu dalam pelaksanaan repair struktur badan pesawat udara, diharapkan dalam melakukan pelepasan dan pemasangan rivet dengan baik dan benar. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengembalikan performa fuselage pesawat terbang N-219 Nurtanio seperti sebelum mengalami kerusakan dan untuk mendapatkan hasil perbaikan yang baik dari suatu produk dengan waktu pengerjaan yang singkat dan biaya yang rendah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen, dilakukan pada fuselage pesawat terbang yang mengalami dent. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan cara mengamati secara langsung hasil eksperimen kemudian menyimpulkan dan menentukan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dalam bentuk deskripsi. Pada pegujian ini digunakan alat rivet gauge untuk mengetahui hasil pengerjaan rivet apakah sudah sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode rivet baik digunakan dalam perbaikan fuselage pesawat terbang. Dengan menggunakan metode rivet hasilnya sesuai dengan harapan, mengembalikan performa fuselage pesawat terbang seperti sebelum mengalami kerusakan, tidak mengubah kekuatan kontruksi awal fuselage pesawat terbang dan tidak menambah beban yang berlebih kepada pesawat. Kesimpulan yang didapat adalah Perbaikan (repair) pada fuselage pesawat terbang dengan menggunakan metode rivetting mempunyai kelebihan dibandingkan dengan metode fastener lainnya seperti hi-lok diantaranya adalah bisa memberikan struktur yang kuat, efisien dalam waktu pengerjaan, biaya perbaikan lebih murah, pengerjaan lebih mudah dan cepat, serta resiko terjadinya kerusakan struktur lebih kecil. Kata Kunci: perbaikan, fuselage, dan riivet v ABSTRACT Up to now, the improvement of the airframe/airframe structure has not been separated from the use of rivets as a fastening component. Therefore, in carrying out repairs to the structure of the airframe, it is expected that the rivets should be removed and installed properly and correctly. The purpose of this research is to restore the performance of the fuselage of the N-219 Nurtanio aircraft as before it was damaged and to get good repair results from a product with a short processing time and low cost. The research method used is experimental, carried out on the fuselage of airplanes that have dents. The research data were analyzed by observing directly the experimental results and then concluding and determining the results of the research that had been carried out in the form of a description. In this test, a rivet gauge tool is used to determine whether the results of the rivet work are in accordance with applicable regulations. The results showed that the rivet method was good for repairing aircraft fuselage. By using the rivet method the results are in line with expectations, restoring the performance of the aircraft's fuselage as before it was damaged, not changing the strength of the aircraft's initial fuselage construction and not adding an excessive load to the aircraft.
