Abstract

The development times from time to time, is growing, the use of language. Language is always in touch with the culture. Cultural contact that occurs in an area will cause to happen anyway language contact. The language contact eventually led to the emergence of vocabulary uptake, such as the emergence of uptake in the Indonesian vocabulary of the Dutch language. As we know Dutch had colonized Indonesia 350 years. During that period of cultural contact and language contact occurs. It was seen in the number of Indonesian vocabulary uptake of the Dutch language, including changes in phonological, morphological, semantic, and based on the concept of levies. In phonology, vocabulary uptake is the case is paragog or the addition of sound in the end. Morphologically, there are a lot of uptake Indonesian vocabulary of the Dutch language is also changing semantics. POMPEN said of the Dutch language into the Indonesian pump for exanlple. The word is actuallychanging phonological, morphological, and semantic. The concept of levies lexical, structural, and levies a foreign language vocabulary uptake also occurred in Indonesia from the Dutch language.
