Abstract

This' paper tries to see how the effect of economic growth, income distribution and initial condition variables to changes rerional poverty in Indonesia. Using panel data 33 provinces over the period 2007-2011. Through the method of Random Effect, the results of this study show that economic growth, income distribution has positive and significant impact on regional poverty changes in Indonesia. While the initial conditions determine how the effectiveness of regional growth in regiönal poverty reduction in Indonesia
